Top Five Movies Set in Pittsburgh

Today I was having a typical lazy Sunday, when I started to watch She's Out of My League on E!. I obviously loved it because the movie was set in Pittsburgh and it was hilarious. So I thought, what a great idea--to discuss my top five movies set in Pittsburgh. Enjoy!

The story of Alex, a steelworker by day and dancer at night., who is chasing her dreams of becoming a professional. Alex faces trials and tribulations due to her lack of experience and education, but hopes to study at the Pittsburgh Conservatory of Dance and Repertory.

Phil Connors, a news reporter for a local Pittsburgh news station, gets the assignment of covering Groundhog's Day...to his displeasure. After grudgingly reporting about Punxsutawney Phil, Phil Connors plans to head home to Pittsburgh. However, he gets stuck in Punxsutawney because of a blizzard. After spending the night in a local hotel, Phil realizes he's reliving Groundhog's Day again...and again.

Kirk, a dorky TSA worker for the Pittsburgh International Airport, meets Molly, a total babe who is WAY out of his league. Molly gives him a chance because she doesn't think she can get hurt, but then genuinely has feelings for him. The only problem is, he's not up to her parents standards and his family is pretty cray-cray.

Two brothers, who originally are from Pittsburgh and huge Pirates' fans, are traveling back to their hometown to witness Roberto Clemete's 3000th hit. It's a great story about family, loyalty and Roberto Clemente.

Charlie nervously begins his first year of high school and quickly makes friends with Sam and Patrick, two seniors. The story follows Charlies' struggles, friendships and relationships during his first year. Side-note, the views of Pittsburgh in this movie are to die for!
